_It's time for us to learn how to live, work and love in community.  The new paradigm we are emerging into is one of co-creation and collaboration.  In the past, bringing our Great Work and gifts into the world seemed to require competition, isolation, and hoarding.  Now, we get to learn a new way.  And, of course we need to do it together!

Alexis Neely (now known as Ali Shanti) certainly knows a lot about creating based on the old model.  As a lawyer, she built her own law firm and a subsequent training company into a million dollar a year plus enterprise doing it the hard way -- hierarchy, top down management and high pressure work style.

Over the past two years, Ali has gone through an intense period of transformation, letting go, regeneration and evolution to discover a new way of being in and with the world.  During this time, she founded a farm community in Colorado, led the Eden Unplugged retreat, restructured her businesses on a more collaborative, team-oriented model, became a program host for the Shift Network, took up the practice of orgasmic meditation and continues to learn how to speak and live the truth.

_The Human Mandala Project began as a way to bring people together to explore collaborative postures as a way to create art.  We are amazed how our bodies can create such intricate, dynamic shapes and sacred geometries. These shapes have the power to resonate frequencies that can do powerful things, including drawing usable energy from the ambient space/vacuum in which we exist. 

These shapes and geometries are found to be the very basic building blocks of our universe as we know it.  These forms are nature’s perfection, and tapping into that perfection allows a metaphorical system restart to disruptive patterns. Coupled with the belief that our human intention is very powerful and we create the world around us, with the power to bring in happiness and bliss or anything we choose.  By creating these forms with our human bodies, we draw upon the resonant peace that emits from our planet and is meant for healing all things.  By allowing ourselves to be in that meditative state while resonating with that peace, we can assist the planet in recycling old, stagnant energy to make way for bright, new flows.  When we join together to create something that is “greater than the whole” we allow the energy of that new  “being” to enter into the consciousness of the Earth and the human race to heal the wounds that we have manifested.

_Palo Santo is a mystical tree that grows on the coast of South America and is related to Frankincense and Myrrh.  In Spanish, the name literally means “Holy Stick or Wood”.

__All Beings are welcome to this 90-minute Hooping PlayShop!   Hooping creates amazing body awareness and much like yoga, links the movement to breath, accessing and opening up our Chakras (energy centers).   Hooping is an incredible form of cardiovascular conditioning but most people  are having way too much fun to even realize they are getting in a great workout!  During this sacred playtime, we will be hooping using different parts of the body as well as learning a few dance moves and "cool tricks."   Being inside the Hoop, the Circle.......the most basic of sacred geometry forms.....activates and realigns our energies in many ways. 

First-time and beginner Hoopers are encouraged as well as those with an established practice.   There is something for everyone in this sacred PlayShop and Hooping together is a fantastic  way to build community. Adult sized hula hoops are provided and smaller hoops will be available for any children that would like to join.  If you have a hoop, please feel free to bring it along as well!

Carrie Stover teaches yoga and hoop dance throughout Tucson, AZ. She has been living in the Hoop for the past 4 years and has found that it has added such a dynamic, playful energy to her life.
